Mountain Man TriathalonAre you up for the Mountain Man challenge? Our course will test your endurance at more than 8,000 feet above sea level. Competition starts with a swim in Twilight Lake, followed by a mountain bike ride on the fabled 1990 World Championship XC Course. A two-mile dash on the Purgatory Flats trail rounds out the inaugural Mountain Man event.

Saturday, August 21
9 a.m. start
Swim: Twilight Lake (across Hwy. 550 from the resort entrance). Approximately 400 yards. Wetsuit recommended.
Bike: Six miles and approximately 1,400 vertical feet of climbing, using a portion of the 1990 World Championship XC Course.
Run: Two-mile trail run (out and back) on the Purgatory Flats trail.
