 The Durango Nordic Ski Club is proud to be hosting a Junior Olympic Qualifier at the Nordic Center this coming Friday and Saturday, February 24th and 25th. There will be around 200 junior racers competing in classic sprints on Friday and a skate distance race on Saturday. Spectators are welcome. The races start at 9am both days and will continue until around 2pm on Friday and until around 12 noon on Saturday. Some Nordic trails will be closed to the general public during the races. - - -The Nordic Center is open daily from 9am until 4pm with trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing and snowshoe trails. Group lessons are offered every day at 10.30am or at 1.30pm or a private lesson can be booked at noon. Rental Equipment is available at the Nordic Center.
